This recording, made on 10 June 2009, includes the interview followed by questions from the audience.
Bellamy answered questions on the slow progress of the National Programme for IT, and his plans to get things moving, then on what has been learnt from the implementation of Cerner Millennium at Royal Free Hampstead.
The interview also covered why he believes that presumed consent is the best option for Summary Care Records, and the pros and cons of lacking a local service provider in the south of England.
Questions from the audience included a challenge over the National Programme's slow progress - to which Bellamy said that it would take another three years to extend systems to all trusts.
